I.

The life we have is not to take

We can’t control, nor can we break

So there’s one promise we should make:

It’s “keep moving forward.”

II.

The one I’ve said is good for you

For him, for her, for them; they too

It’s general and it’s brand new

to keep moving forward.

III.

Hard challenges may come and go

Though you hate it, you can’t say no

You may just have to let them flow

and keep moving forward.

IV.

When all your problems you can’t bear

And no one doesn’t seem to care

Remember life is just and fair

Just keep moving forward.

V.

Your reputation’s badly marred

And life gets shameful and so hard

Move on; just let your heart that’s scarred

to keep moving forward.

VI.

When people don’t agree with you

But you know that you’ve told what’s true

Keep speaking up, do not be moved

Just keep moving forward.

VII.

In times of calling and distress

When livelihood is down to less

Never give up! It’s not a mess

Still keep moving forward.

VIII.

When beauty fades and sorrows sprout

Your self-esteem is down and out;

It’s not what life is all about

So keep moving forward.

IX.

And if you think that God does not

care much for you ‘cause He forgot,

Look on His love that doesn't rot

Just keep moving forward.

X.

You see, He has a plan that’s great

For us who have the will to wait

So just have faith, come ye my mate

Let’s keep moving forward.
